I studied Architecture at North Dakota State University and graduated with my Masters of Architecture in 2013.
I have always been passionate about design. It started when I was very young and I would steal away to play with my brothers Link-N-Logs and Legos. As I grew older my love for creating and problem solving only strengthened. I moved on to different design challenges to solve ranging from K*nex, Playmobile, and a personal favorite The Sims. Through high school I had no idea what I could do with my skills until I started my college visits. One foot inside NDSU's architecture program and I haven't looked back since. From idealist school projects with an unlimited budget and the only client to please was myself, to working in a professional setting and feeling like every opportunity just got value engineered out, I still have so much passion for this profession that I continue to design even outside the workplace. Whether it be a lamp, a new piece of artwork, or side projects with my own brief, design has been the constant in everything I do. |
